A shed that’s falling apart, or just isn’t needed anymore, can be more than just a haul-away job, it usually means tearing down the structure itself. Blu Junk Removal handles full shed removal throughout Cypress, including Bridgeland, Longwood, and the surrounding neighborhoods. We take down the whole structure and the flooring, clearing the space so it’s ready for whatever comes next.
When People Call Us for Shed Removal
If a shed has rotted, rusted, or become structurally unsound, it’s usually not worth saving. We’ll take it down completely and clear the area.
Sometimes a shed is just in the way of how you want to use your yard now, whether that’s a garden, play area, or patio. We’ll remove it so you’ve got a clean space to work with.
If you’re replacing a small shed with a bigger one, the old structure has to go first. We’ll clear it so the new one has a clean spot to go.
And if you’re getting ready to sell, an old shed in bad shape can drag down how the whole yard looks. We’ll remove it to help the property show better.
A Note on Shed Removal vs. Shed Cleanout
This page covers tearing down and removing the shed structure itself. If the shed is sitting on a concrete pad, that pad stays in place, removing concrete isn’t something we’re equipped for. If the shed itself is fine but it’s just packed full of stuff, our Shed Cleanout page covers clearing out the contents while the shed stays.
What’s Involved
We dismantle the structure completely, including the floor framing, so the shed itself is fully gone. If the shed sits on a concrete slab, that slab remains, concrete removal would need a different contractor. Materials like wood, metal, and plastic get separated for recycling where possible, and we’re careful with your lawn and landscaping throughout.
Types of Sheds We Remove
Wooden garden sheds, metal storage buildings, plastic or resin sheds, custom-built structures, prefabricated outbuildings, pool equipment houses, and garden or potting sheds.
How It Works
Call or text us at (346) 379-7995, or fill out our online form. We’ll assess the structure, walk you through what’s involved, and give you an estimate. Simple kit sheds or larger custom builds, we handle both.

FAQ
How does the shed removal process work?
Call, text, or fill out our online form with a bit of detail about what needs to go. We’ll give you a time window, show up, remove the item, and load it onto our truck. Most jobs take less time than people expect.
How much does shed removal cost?
Cost depends on the size and number of items, plus how much labor is involved getting them out of your home. We give a clear price before we start, no surprises after the fact. Text us a photo if you want a ballpark estimate ahead of time. Shed removal also factors in the size and construction of the structure, which we account for in your quote. Note that we remove the shed itself but not concrete pads or slabs underneath.
Do you donate or recycle items?
Yes. If an item still works or is in good shape, we’ll try to get it to someone who can use it. If not, we recycle as much as possible rather than sending it straight to a landfill.
What should I do to get ready before you arrive?
Just make sure the item or area is accessible, ideally not blocked by other items, with a clear path to the door. That’s it. We handle the lifting and loading.
Do you offer same-day service?
Often, yes. Call or text us at (346) 379-7995 and we’ll let you know what’s available that day.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Cypress and serve Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Fairfield, Longwood, and Coles Crossing, along with Tomball, Spring, Jersey Village, Katy, Klein, Magnolia, Waller, Hockley, The Woodlands, and Northwest Houston.
